Mitchell Myers, DMD

Mitchell B. Myers, D.M.D., P.C., offers general and cosmetic dentistry for all ages. Dr. Mitchell Myers DMD is known in our community for his passion to make your dental experience comfortable.  He prides himself on using the latest high tech equipment and procedures.

Mitchell Myers DMD graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He then attended South Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Myers went on to complete a one-year General Practice Residency at St. Mary’s Hospital. On July 18, 1983 Dr. Mitchell Myers DMD opened his private practice in Ottawa.

Mitchell Myers DMD is accredited with numerous elected positions, including:

• Delegate to the House of the American Dental Association (2003)
• Illinois Academy of Dental Practice Administration – Past Secretary and Treasurer
• Illinois State Dental Society – Board of Trustees (2001-2004)
• Illinois Valley Dental Society – President (2004-2006)
• Alternate delegate to the House of the American Dental Association (2005)

The doctor is a member of the American Dental Association and Illinois State Dental Society.  He is also affiliated with the Illinois State Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry.

Continuing education is a very important part of Dr. Myers commitment to dentistry. He attends many seminars and has gained certification in various fields of dentistry, including our newest addition to the office, Invisalign. Committed to continuing education, Mitchell Myers DMD has earned many certifications, including Quad City Health Initiative, Level I Laser and Laser Institute.   

When he is not seeing patients, Mitchell Myers DMD is an avid golfer and photographer. Dr. Mitchell Myers DMD is also committed to helping those in need. For instance, he has donated dental supplies to India tsunami victims, among other relief efforts.

Joseph Tadros, DMD

Dr. Joseph Tadros is a dentist who leads with his heart, hands, and faith. He believes dentistry is more than fixing teeth – it’s about restoring confidence, relieving pain, and building lifelong relationships rooted in trust and compassion.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine – Illinois, where he served as class president and later as University student senate vice president. Throughout his dental school journey, Dr. Tadros was recognized for his leadership, service, and academic excellence. He is a proud recipient of the Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS) Scholarship and was honored with a recognition prestigious award from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).

Dr. Tadros is a committed lifelong learner who has completed over 350 hours of continuing education, including advanced training in implant dentistry through the AAID MaxiCourse. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). His clinical expertise includes dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions, bone grafting, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, and smile design.

Outside of private practice, Dr. Tadros remains devoted to service. He has provided care through dental mission trips to Jamaica and outreach events across Illinois, including Mission of Mercy and mobile clinics that bring dentistry to underserved communities.

At the core of his life is family. Dr. Tadros is a proud husband to Julia and a father to two boys, David and Daniel. He enjoys traveling, swimming, and cherishing every moment with his loved ones.
